On Saturday, April 8, pianist Louis Landon will appear at Steinway Hall – Fort Worth to perform a concert of solo piano music.
Louis Landon is a Steinway Artist and pianist for peace. His career has taken him around the world playing a variety of styles with some of the most recognized names in the entertainment industry, including international icons as Mikhail Baryshnikov, John Payne, Rupert Holmes, and John Hall. From classical repertoire to jazz, pop and rock, Landon has used his expressive gifts and talent to his full advantage for others.
Landon studied classical music, but a fascination with jazz took his attention from studies at Stony Brook University in the direction of Berklee College of Music, the world's premier institution for the study of contemporary music. Keyboard Magazine said "With backgrounds in jazz, Latin music, rock, pop, film composing, and classical piano Louis brings his breadth and depth of experience to bear here. His playing and compositions are sensitive as they are complex and, a diverse range of influences is more than apparent."
Louis Landon's music has had over 73 million plays on Pandora radio. His albums have been played on hundreds of stations and his music has been featured extensively on Whisperings Radio. Louis Landon will also conduct a Master Class in improvisation that afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
