IN 1853 A GREAT AMERICAN SUCCESS STORY BEGAN.
THAT STORY CONTINUES TODAY...

Steinway pianos are considered to be the world's finest, but did you ever wonder what it is that makes them the best? Now is your chance to find out by attending our "How it's Made in the U.S.A." at Steinway Hall - Dallas.

By attending this free, informative event you will learn about everything from the most important patents to the smallest nuances that goes into making a Steinway. We'll explain how Steinway invented the modern grand piano and how, even though many companies have tried to copy Steinway's techniques, nobody has succeeded in duplicating the Steinway sound. You'll learn firsthand, with models and demonstrations of the inner workings of a Steinway that you're used to hearing – but not seeing.

In addition, we'll discuss why – in an age when many "American" piano companies have moved their manufacturing operations to Asia – Steinway has insisted on continuing to handcraft its pianos in New York, as it has done since 1853.

There is no charge for this event. However, seating is limited.  For reservations, call us or register online and receive a complimentary copy of Note By Note, The Making of Steinway L1037.
