(Fort Worth, Texas…) Casey D. Saliba, Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Steinway Showrooms of North Texas and Houston, and Daniel Saliba, President of the company, have announced the opening of their new Fort Worth showroom – Steinway Piano Gallery of Fort Worth – at 510 Commerce Street, just west of Bass Performance Hall in downtown Fort Worth’s Sundance Square district. The showroom was recently relocated from a prior location on Camp Bowie Boulevard, where it was long a destination for retail, performance, and student recitals for musicians, students, teachers, and piano aficionados from across North Texas and beyond.
The new store has 3,000 square feet and will feature instruments from the renowned Steinway portfolio of Steinway and Steinway’s Boston and Essex brands, as well as piano services from tuning and voicing to restoration and repair.
An exclusive invitational grand opening reception was held on the evening of October 9, 2019, and featured a recital by 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition gold medalist and Steinway Artist, Olga Kern, a welcome by U.S. Congresswoman Kay Granger, 12th District of Texas; and opening remarks by Ron Losby, CEO of Steinway & Sons Musical Instruments.
“Our company’s mission is building the best piano possible,” Mr. Losby said. “This new Steinway Showroom is an ideal setting for displaying our magnificent instruments.”
To celebrate and welcome visitors to the Fort Worth store, WRR 101.1 FM radio’s Barry Samsula will host a remote broadcast this Saturday, October 12, 2019, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Visitors are encouraged to drop by and meet the veteran radio broadcaster Mr. Samsula, share refreshments and see Steinway instruments including the Spirio, the newest technology that enables thousands of acoustic piano performance pieces played at the touch of a screen in any setting. To celebrate its opening, the Fort Worth Steinway Showroom will host a grand opening sales event Thursday, October 24 through Sunday, October 27, 2019. The Fort Worth grand opening sale is by appointment only and will feature new and used Steinway pianos, Steinway-designed Boston and Essex pianos, as well as the new Spirio high-resolution Steinway player piano.
“We’ve been at home in Fort Worth for some time but moving to Sundance Square opens new horizons for us. We have showrooms in downtown Plano and near downtown Dallas and one near downtown Houston. Now to be in downtown Fort Worth is a dream come true,” said Casey Saliba. “The Sundance Square team has been so supportive. Visitors are already raving about the elegance, beauty, and contemporary tone of our Commerce Street space.”
As well, Steinway Piano Gallery Fort Worth’s adjacency to Bass Performance Hall offers opportunity and convenience. “It’s ideal to be next door to a performing arts venue like Bass Hall,” said Danny Saliba. “From the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition to visiting Steinway Artists and more, our Steinway pianos regularly grace the Bass Hall stage. We have high hopes for our future neighborly collaborations.”
Danny Saliba first joined Steinway & Sons 40 years ago in 1979 as a regional manager before settling in Dallas and opening Steinway Hall in 1979. His son, Casey, joined the family business in 2005, and he has been leading the company’s sales and marketing efforts as they have continued to grow and expand
around north Texas and in Houston.
